Gurukul Vasti Gruh (Hostel) by The Aashirvaad Trust NGO

The Gurukul Vasti Gruh (Hostel) was started in the year 2020 by the Aashirvaad Trust NGO for the bright future of nomadic and destitute (भटक्या व विमुक्त समाजातील) children. The hostel is capable of taking full responsibility for 25 boys and girls.

The organization provides these children with food, shelter, clothing, education, and other necessities. For the holistic development of the deprived children. The hostel continuously implements various activities. Along with education, sports, cultural, and intellectual activities are also conducted for the children in the Gurukul Vasti Gruh.

We are fortunate to have food and shelter. We live in a comfortable house, wear good quality clothes, eat in costly restaurants. God has blessed us with whatever we wished for. But not everyone is as fortunate and blessed as us. Where we enjoy our lives, there comes a sense of responsibility too. The responsibility to make someone’s life better. God has given us this opportunity to help people who struggle a lot to get their food daily.

A Story That Connects Us All

Think back to when you were a child. Imagine if, instead of a warm bed and a safe home, each night you faced the uncertainty of where you would sleep, what you would eat, or whether you’d ever go to school again.

This is the reality for children from nomadic tribes. Take Meena, for example, a young girl of just nine years who came to Aashirvaad Trust with nothing more than a small bundle of belongings and a heart full of dreams.

For Meena, life had been a series of temporary shelters, missed meals, and distant glances at other children attending school. When she arrived at our hostel, she was initially overwhelmed, unsure of what it meant to have a “home.” But with time, she found a family here, discovered a love for learning, and dared to dream about her future. Today, Meena is a bright student, full of confidence and hope, all because someone like you believed in her.

The mission of Aashirvaad Trust goes beyond meeting basic needs. We’re building a foundation for these children to grow, learn, and rise above the life of poverty they were born into.
